Overview

The M.C. Dean, Inc. Maritime Division works at shipyards around the world, supporting C4ISR system installations on ships and submarines. This position offers unrivaled compensation and benefits as part of the Alteration Installation Teams.

Responsibilities

• Work on C4ISR system installations on ships and submarines.
• Organize and schedule welding jobs to ensure on-time completion.
• Maintain and safeguard company equipment and tools.
• Maintain and safeguard welding inventory.
• Work overtime upon management request.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of applicable welding experience.
• ASNT NDT Level I Certification or relevant experience.
• One other relevant technical certification such as AWS Certified Welding Supervisor or AWS Certified Weld Inspector.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and installation drawings.
• Proficiency in using ARC and gas welding equipment.
• Ability to weld in all positions and for all types of metals and alloys.
• Supervisory and leadership skills.
• Certifications in Occupational Safety Haz-Mat, Shipyard Competent Person, Aloft/Climbing, and Working in Confined Spaces.
