Overview

Modular Mission Critical™ is the manufacturing campus for M.C. Dean's modular product line for datacenters and critical infrastructure, located just north of Richmond, VA. The Fabrication Welding Technician is responsible for various welding duties, including performing multiple welding processes on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ensuring safety, and completing work orders in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Repairs metal surfaces for safe and efficient use.
• Installs various items to complete projects safely and within time frames.
• Maintains shop, equipment, and tools for safety and availability.
• Coordinates with administration and other trades for efficient project completion.
• Requests equipment and supplies to maintain inventory.
• Assists other trades personnel as needed.
• Responds to emergency situations to resolve safety concerns.
• Transports various items such as tools and equipment.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in welding fabrication and design.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• AWS Certification is preferred.
• Experience with MIG welding, stick welding, and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
