Overview

The Sheet Metal Fabricator position on the 3rd shift in the Components Division involves setting up and operating various machinery, ensuring quality production, and collaborating effectively within a team. Candidates must be adaptable, safety-conscious, and willing to cross-train across different areas of the department.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run turrets, punching machines, presses, press brakes, lasers, shears, and pemnutters.
• Read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Communicate effectively and work as a team player.
• Conduct regular inspections of production to ensure quality.
• Adapt to a fast-paced work environment with minimal training.
• Order materials and schedule orders as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of sheet metal experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good eyesight and hand dexterity.
• Willingness to cross-train.
• 1 year of mechanics and electronics experience.
• Ability to comprehend assembly drawings and bills of material.
• Ability to follow set-up directions and understand product specifications.
• Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Overtime will be required.

Additional Information

• Position requires working overtime (10-12 hours) when needed.
