Overview

At Beyel Brothers, we're dedicated to excellence in crane operations, rigging, heavy haulage, and marine transport. The ABS Welder will be responsible for welding, assembling, and inspecting components to ensure they meet our quality standards, requiring expertise in ABS welding techniques and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ABS welding operations according to engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welding machines.
  • Fabricate and assemble components using ABS welding techniques, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
  • Inspect welded joints for defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs to meet quality standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an ABS Welder or in a similar welding role.
  • Proficiency in ABS welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of welding equipment and tools, including setup and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Certification in welding techniques or completion of a welding training program is a plus.
