Overview

At Trident Maritime Systems - Heavy Equipment Group, we build careers in the marine and defense industry. We are currently seeking a Welder in Rhinelander, WI, who will undergo a 90-day training program to perform welding and fabrication tasks while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate basic to moderately advanced weldments with minimal quality errors.
• Work from drawings and blueprints, read weld symbols, and perform quality checks throughout the process.
• Perform crane operations and rigging, proficient at moving/flipping weldment using 2 cranes.
• Operate hand burn plasma and torch.
• Understand and apply weld sequencing.
• Perform heat straightening techniques.
• Complete skills placement after 90 days of training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Welding experience and/or completion of Welding Program or Welding Certification strongly desired.
