Overview

SPX Technologies is a global company focused on building innovative solutions in HVAC and Detection and Measurement. As a Welder at Cincinnati Fan, a leading manufacturer of industrial fans and blowers, you will work as part of a team to create functional metal components through MIG tack welding operations, contributing to on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Confirm material, sizes, and parts match work orders.
• Self-monitor quality of work and report any issues.
• Weld to specifications on mild and stainless steel.
• Read blueprints and coordinate staging of parts.
• Prepare metals and work surfaces for production.
• Transfer completed products using cranes and forklifts.
• Perform light maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Assist team members and be punctual for shifts.

Requirements

• 1 year of MIG welding experience in a production environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Forklift certification (preferred).
• Overhead crane operation experience (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
