This is an opportunity to obtain a dynamic and rewarding career at the Philips Latham, New York site where magnetic resonance imaging magnets are manufactured. The role involves completing high-quality TIG and MIG welds and fabricating intricate assemblies for cryogenic applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete high quality TIG and MIG welds using precision instruments.
• Cut, bend, drill, tap, and perform similar operations to fabricate intricate assemblies.
• Read and understand drawings and supporting documents.

Requirements

• 1+ years of welding experience.
• Experience using mechanical assembly tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to create high quality TIG and MIG welds and perform vacuum leak tight TIG welds on aluminum.
• Experience operating bridge cranes and forklift trucks.
• Ability to read and write to follow documentation assembly procedures.

Additional Information

• This is an onsite role on 2nd shift working Monday-Friday 3:20pm-11:30pm.
