Overview

Oshkosh Defense, an industry-leading tactical vehicle manufacturer, is seeking a Welder who will set up, tack, and perform various types of welding on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, contributing to the production of advanced defense technologies.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tack, and perform all types of welding on various metals.
• Cut and fit, heat and bend, perform weld repairs, salvage, and rebuild parts as directed.
• Work in any position as required.
• Clean welds as necessary.
• Collaborate with other personnel during the assembly of large components.
• Interpret fairly complicated drawings and apply advanced shop mathematics.
