Overview

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator for 2nd or 3rd shift positions. The role involves setting up and tack welding various metals to create sub-assemblies for cylinders and swivels, following specific weld procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Repair weld flaws and leakers from assembly.
  • Tack and weld parts per the appropriate weld procedure.
  • Clean and inspect all finished sub-assemblies as trained.
  • Store finished sub-assemblies and unused parts per proper procedures.
  • Read and interpret shop routings and prints.
  • Set up the job per the appropriate weld procedures using fixtures and jigs.
  • Perform and obtain the first part piece inspection.
  • Conduct general maintenance such as changing tips, liners, wire, and gas.
  • Return tools and fixtures to the proper locations upon job completion.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years associate degree in Welding with one or more years in various welding techniques.
  • Must be able to pass the JARP Industries weld certification test.
  • Required to pass all weld certification tests within 2 years of hire.
  • Welding experience in flux core, sub-arc, and MIG is a must.
  • Must be able to read blueprints.
  • Manufacturing experience is required.

Additional Information

  • 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:00pm-12:00am
  • 3rd shift: Monday-Thursday, 8:00pm-6:00am
