Overview

This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard, Industrial Department, Mechanical Group, Pipe Shop in Baltimore, MD. The Pipefitter Helper will serve as a trainee assisting journeymen with various pipefitting tasks related to marine craft and vessels.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen with pipefitting tasks.
• Acquire knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the trade.
• Be exposed to work processes.
• Develop and coordinate beneficial contacts for successful performance of assignments.
• Complete mandatory training successfully.
