Overview

The Journeyman Pipe Fitter is a working crew member responsible for taking direction from the foreman and training Apprentices and Helpers in the installation and demolition of mechanical system components, as well as moving materials.

Responsibilities

  • Take direction from the foreman.
  • Train and guide Apprentices and Helpers.
  • Install mechanical system components.
  • Demolish mechanical system components.
  • Move materials as needed.
  • Maintain safe working practices.
