Position Title: Senior Welder Wage: $26.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring a Senior Welder for a company in Kansas City, MO. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift. Senior Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Read blueprints and work orders - MIG/TIG/Stick weld as required - Fit and fabricate metal components - Operate fabrication equipment - Inspect weld quality - Maintain safe, clean work area - Train less experienced welders - Perform other duties as assigned Senior Welder Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - 5+ years of recent and on-the-job fabrication/welding experience - Experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding - Blueprint reading; measuring tools - Strong safety and quality focus - Stand for extended periods - Lift up to 50 pounds regularly - Work in manufacturing environment with PPE QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
