JOB SUMMARY

E.A.B. Fabrication, Inc. is hiring full-time experienced Mig Welders responsible for fitting and welding steel( must pass a weld test). This is a 1st shift position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up welding machines.
  • Read and interpret drawing components.
  • Complete all required QC related paperwork.
  • MIG weld components based on drawing specifications.
  • Set up welding cells for production runs.
  • Operate welders, hand plasmas, torches, and grinders used in the production process.
  • Follow weld line process per the supervisor.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Properly care for all equipment, tools, and facilities.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Prepare products for next stage of production.
  • Uphold all applicable ISO and OSHA standards.
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • No ripped or frayed jeans allowed.
  • Ensure tinted safety glasses are worn while welding.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with steel and/or stainless steel.
  • Experience with MIG welding (highly ).
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Basic knowledge of fabricating, reading tapes, and print reading.
  • Basic troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of changing out gas and weld wire.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work 40+ hours a week.
