Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality metal structures and parts that meet project specifications and industry standards. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components. Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques to join metals securely according to ASME codes & standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measures to ensure dimensional accuracy of fabricated parts. Execute pipe threading, frame/guard manufacturing, and assembly of mechanical components with rigging and mechanical knowledge. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction site practices, crane operation, forklift handling, and power tool usage. Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving plasma cutting, press brake operations, machining, soldering, and assembly tasks.
Qualifications Commitment to safety. Proven manufacturing background with hands-on fabrication skills. Proficiency in MIG & TIG welding methods. Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with calipers, tape measures, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication processes. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, rigging procedures, and assembly techniques. Sheet metal experience plus. Machining experience is a plus. Maintenance experience is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently within a construction or manufacturing environment.
