Location: Southeastern Pa, South Jersey, Delaware

Road-Con is seeking dedicated and hardworking laborers to join our team. As a laborer, you will be involved in various tasks related to bridge, pipe, or roadway construction. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

Bend, climb, kneel, and lift objects weighing 50 pounds or more. Work in close proximity to heavy equipment and traffic. Drive company vehicles for tasks such as implementing traffic controls, accessing and retrieving tools/materials, and staging work zones. Safely use hand tools (e.g., levels, shovels, loots, hammers) and power tools. Perform work at heights, in excavations, on uneven surfaces, and on hot surfaces when placing asphalt. Work in confined spaces when necessary. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the safety of other employees and the public.

Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to work in various environmental conditions. Valid driver’s license (encouraged to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card). Experience with hand and power tools. Flexibility to work daylight and nighttime shifts based on project demands.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or related fields. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
