Overview
Texas Instruments is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician for the Plasma module within RFAB. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and improvements while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce repetitive downs.
- Monitor and analyze data to enhance tool performance and address related issues.
- Coordinate supplier service and repairs as needed.
- Prepare technical reports and summarize findings while recommending solutions to technical problems.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 2 years of semiconductor experience as Technician or 5 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience.
- Ability to work a 12 hour compressed work schedule.
- Flexible to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.
- Proficiency with vacuum systems and troubleshooting.
- Experience with RF systems and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of gas delivery systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret toolset schematics.
- Mechanical proficiency and familiarity with hand tools.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50lbs.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
