Golden State Foods is a leader in the food service industry, seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift in Burleson, TX. The role involves maintaining mechanical and electrical industrial food manufacturing equipment while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electrical industrial food manufacturing equipment.
• Adhere to safety, food safety, quality, and legal compliance.
• Perform work in accordance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Install, maintain, and support all production-related equipment.
• Use a variety of test equipment, machines, hand tools, and computer-aided equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production needs promptly.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures or breakdowns.
• Perform maintenance according to schedules using appropriate instructions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly shop and work area.
• Assist other mechanics with heavy jobs.
• Be available for overtime, weekends, and shift changes.
• Repair and maintain high-speed packaging equipment.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and other safety procedures.
• Document completed work as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience and/or technical training in PLC, electrical controls, and motor circuits.
• Experience in mechanical and machinist work.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with refrigeration.
• Familiarity with cutting torches, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Mathematical skills for machine checks and setup.
