The Senior MIG Fabrication Lead position focuses on MIG welding of galvanized and carbon steel for custom ductwork and ventilation components. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and leadership within a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
- MIG weld steel components for custom ductwork and ventilation systems
- Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Fit, tack, weld, and finish to specification
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and accuracy
- Keep a clean, organized workspace
- Provide leadership support and contribute to training
Requirements
- Proven MIG welding experience
- MUST HAVE experience with galvanized and carbon steel
- Ability to read welding symbols and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
- Willingness to buy personal tools once trained
- Capability to perform physical fabrication tasks
