Overview

A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced TIG/MIG Welder to create clean, precise, and aesthetically pleasing aluminum welds. The position requires working Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG/MIG welding with a focus on aluminum components
• Read, understand, and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and aesthetics
• Maintain welding equipment in good working condition and follow all safety procedures
• List and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in TIG/MIG welding aluminum
• Must have proven ability to produce clean, aesthetically pleasing aluminum TIG welds
• The ability to TIG weld stainless steel is preferred
• Must have strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a production environment
• Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
• Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment shop skills and weld test
