Overview

Klute, a family-owned company trusted in steel fabrication since 1961, is hiring dedicated welders for a 3-day weekend shift. This position offers a steady full-time paycheck for 36 hours of work from Friday to Sunday, along with a $1.50/hour weekend premium pay.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Lay out and tack parts.
• Perform high-quality GMAW welds.
• Produce work that supports critical infrastructure.
• Operate a fork truck to move material.
• Use tape measures and other measuring devices to ensure proper placement before welding.
• Conform to company policies and perform operations safely.
• Report unsafe conditions and quality issues to the lead or supervisor.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Complete paperwork for product tracking.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• AAS in welding is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar setting is preferred.
• Must be able to be certified in the use of an overhead crane.
