Overview

HTM Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Lead Welder in Honolulu, HI, to use specialized equipment for welding and repairing various items, including trucks and dumpsters. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Train and coordinate team members.
• Estimate and take-offs for repairs and new builds.
• Order materials for projects.
• Conduct quality control checks.
• Manage inventory of materials.
• Manufacture and fabricate various dumpsters and containers.
• Repair, assemble, and install dumpsters, containers, and equipment.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
• Perform MIG and Stick welding.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Ability to manage and supervise 1-4 employees.
• Experience with estimating and take-offs for metal work (preferred).
• Familiarity with welding tools, procedures, engineering blueprints, and schematics.
• Ability to handle a physical workload.
• Valid Driver's License.

Additional Information

• Full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM.
• 30 minutes unpaid lunch.
• Weekly pay.
