Job Description
Overview
The Parts Puller / Material Handler at Jamco will provide parts to the Welders to maintain consistent workflow. This position involves reading built cards and blueprints, organizing parts, and operating forklifts and cranes in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Read built cards and pull appropriate parts to deliver to the correct welding station.
- Read blueprints to determine needed parts.
- Routinely organize a cart based on welding process.
- Determine low parts inventory and communicate inventory shortage with Lead.
- Operate fork lift and overhead cranes to move parts within work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Lead.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Forklift experience of 2-3 years.
- Blueprint reading knowledge.
- Manufacturing background of 2-3 years.
- Must be able to work 10 hour days.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
