Overview

The Welder Training Leader will be responsible for preparing lesson plans and training materials in the Production Resources Department at Pearl Harbor NSY and IMF, focusing on developing learning through both classroom and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and training materials, including visual aids.
• Teach basic trade theory, including principles, concepts, terminology, processes, practices, safety, tools, weld documentation, equipment, and materials.
• Schedule and coordinate practical training aligned with the progression of trade theory learning.
• Counsel employees on day-to-day problems involving trade theory and practices.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on the progress and performance of each trainee.
