The Welder’s role is to weld parts quickly and accurately, meeting or exceeding customer specs by reading blueprints, including weld symbols; ensuring correct machine settings, shielding gas, weld position and filler material are used. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring our customers’ needs are consistently met, promoting our company’s continued national growth. Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities: Fit and weld parts according to customer specification, meeting or exceeding customer specs both structural and aesthetic. Knowledge, understanding, and use of weld symbols Knowledge, understanding, and use of blueprints Ensure proper set up of machine for each job. Use handheld measuring tools to verify accurate dimension and fit of parts to be welded and assembled. Ability to MIG / Fillet weld Ability to 3G uphill weld Ability to double V groove weld Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment. Uses proper PPE and follows all safety procedures. Other duties assigned
The essential functions of this role include:
