Structural Steel Erector / Ironworker TradeWorX is hiring experienced Structural Steel Erectors / Ironworkers for a commercial construction project in the Lancaster, New York area. We are looking for 3–4 dependable field employees with structural steel erection experience. Approximately 40 hours expected. Overtime has not been confirmed. Schedule: Start date: August 17, 2026 Approximately 40 hours for the week Expected duration: approximately one week Exact daily schedule to be confirmed Job Duties: Assist with erection and installation of structural steel beams and columns Install roof decking on a commercial addition Frame structural openings in roof areas Install miscellaneous steel, including rails and ladders Work safely at elevation and around active steel erection operations Follow field supervision, erection sequencing, and jobsite safety requirements Requirements: Previous structural steel erection, ironworking, or closely related commercial field experience Experience setting beams, columns, decking, or miscellaneous structural steel Ability to work safely at heights and use required fall-protection equipment Ability to perform physically demanding field work Reliable transportation to the Lancaster, NY area Welding certification is a plus but is not required based on current information Ideal Candidate: Experienced in commercial structural steel erection Comfortable working independently within an erection crew Dependable and able to commit to the full short-term assignment Safety-focused and prepared for work at elevation Available to start August 17, 2026 How to Apply: Apply now.
