Overview

MW Watermark is an environmentally conscious company focused on making a positive difference in the water business by building innovative water and wastewater treatment equipment. The Welder I position involves performing structural welding for large water treatment machinery and its subcomponents using MIG and TIG welding techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural welding of water treatment machinery components.
  • Conduct pre-weld preparation of subcomponents and post-weld preparation for paint.
  • Engage in some non-structural welding of carbon and stainless steel.
  • Operate saws, drills, shears, breaks, and forklifts.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Promote and contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in structural welding of steel components.
  • 1+ year of experience with MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  • Weld certifications are preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required, typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.

Additional Information

  • This position requires full-time employment at 40 hours per week.
  • The position cannot be done remotely and requires hands-on work in the factory.

What you'll be running
