Overview

This position reports to the Welding Supervisor and is responsible for fulfilling all assigned welding duties for production. The Welder will perform tasks associated with welding parts according to specifications and ensure compliance with company processes.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and weld parts to print or specifications.
  • Label products correctly.
  • Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • MIG welding experience preferred, semi-automatic MIG welding a plus.
  • One year of on-the-job experience or welding classes desired.
  • Pass JOST Welder Qualification Test.
  • Ability to work and communicate accurately as an effective team member.
  • Ability to gain knowledge of company products and comply with policies.

  • Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of the time.
  • Employee will regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, twist, and occasionally stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less.
