Overview

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is seeking a Pipefitter Foreman for a jobsite in Baytown, TX. OPD is an engineering and construction company specializing in the natural gas and petrochemical industries, known for its commitment to safety and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of pipefitting, tools, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead small teams and assign job duties to crew members.
• Ensure each employee is properly trained.
• Act as a safety role model for the team.
• Enforce OPD and client-specific safety policies and procedures on the jobsite.
• Anticipate and report potential safety and environmental concerns to the OPD Superintendent.
• Provide records of work completed to the OPD Superintendent.
• Communicate with the OPD Superintendent regarding material requirements and scheduling NDE for pipe and vessel welding.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a pipefitter.
• Must be a role model for safety.
• Ability to travel with extended periods away from home in remote areas.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must attend and/or lead employee safety meetings.
• Must work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week.
• Must meet all physical demands of the job.

Additional Information

• Jobsite located in Baytown, TX.
• Capable of working in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.
• Lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods of time up to 11 hours per day.
