Overview

As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining aerospace components and systems with a focus on precision and quality. This role is essential in supporting the production process and ensuring that assemblies meet required standards for safety and performance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble aerospace components and systems following detailed specifications and blueprints.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify assemblies meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assembly activities and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and quality assurance teams to address assembly challenges.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in aerospace or related manufacturing assembly environments.
• Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment used in aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions accurately.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
• 3+ years of experience in aerospace or high-precision assembly roles.

• You will report directly to our Production Supervisor.
• You’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an On-site work schedule.
