Overview

Chromalloy is a global engineering and solutions company that provides aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions to extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. The Metal Worker - Blender position involves blending surfaces and modifying parts while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Blend surfaces and apply or remove excess material with hand tools or machinery.
• Use proper PPE and safety equipment at all times.
• Set up and use various machines, fixtures, and tools.
• Modify parts to specifications.
• Mix production materials.
• Follow production specifications consistently.
• Implement continuous improvement, 5S, and lean principles.
• Maintain department safety and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Control Manual (QCM).
• Be aware of ISO – Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.
• Adhere to all Company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Promote the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Cross-train other employees.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with peers, leadership, and customers.
• Perform other tasks in the facility as needed.

Requirements

• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use and hold measuring tools.
• Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team.
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass various tests including annual exams.
• Meet performance standards within the first six months.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Additional Information

• Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays based on operational needs.
