Overview

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 or 3 for their Mesa, AZ location, where employees work on revolutionary systems that impact lives globally. The role involves assembly operations of gun systems and requires eligibility to work second shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing assembly of subassemblies and top level assemblies for gun systems.
• Conduct teardown, evaluate and reassembly of remanufactured products.
• Follow detailed operating procedures and collect/record data as necessary.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Ability to follow detailed operating procedures and work instructions.
• High attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies for Level 2.
• 4 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies for Level 3.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry 40 lbs.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Obtain coverage under Safe Explosive Act as employee possessor/responsible person upon starting.
• Able to start work a 4/10 (Mon-Thurs) 3:00 P.M. – 1:30 A.M. schedule, work overtime and some weekends if needed.
