Overview

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 or 3 in Mesa, AZ, to work on assembly operations of gun systems that have been utilized in major conflicts since World War II. Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing assembly of subassemblies and top level assemblies for gun systems.
• Conduct teardown, evaluate and reassembly of remanufactured products.
• Follow detailed operating procedures and collect/record data as necessary.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Ability to follow detailed operating procedures and work instructions.
• High attention to detail.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies for Level 2.
• 4 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies for Level 3.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry 40 lbs.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Obtain coverage under Safe Explosive Act as employee possessor/responsible person upon starting.
• Able to start work a 4/10 (Mon-Thurs) 5 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. schedule, work overtime and some weekends if needed.
