Job Description

Overview

We are looking for experienced Combo Fitters to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience fitting and assembling industrial piping, structural components, and related equipment while working from blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings.
  • Fit and assemble pipe, structural steel, and related components.
  • Measure, cut, align, and tack components according to specifications.
  • Work with welders to ensure proper fit-up and alignment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and fitting tools safely.
  • Perform layout and fit-up work with close attention to dimensions and tolerances.
  • Identify and correct alignment or fit-up issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Combo Fitter, Pipe Fitter, Structural Fitter, or similar role.
  • Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Experience with pipe fitting, structural fitting, or industrial fabrication.
  • Ability to measure accurately using tape measures, levels, squares, and other tools.
  • Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
  • Strong understanding of fit-up, alignment, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
