Overview

The Manufacturing Team Member III is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting various types of semi-automated equipment or manually adjusting final products to produce quality parts while maintaining productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust multi-axis CNC milling/grinding/lathe, injection molding, and other semi-automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot machine issues by diagnosing breakdowns and replacing defective components.
- Run production jobs according to written or verbal work instructions.
- Inspect products for quality using measuring tools and record findings.
- Read work orders and blueprints to identify specifications for machine setup.
- Perform offsets and adjustments to machine settings as necessary.
- Perform general machine maintenance including cleaning and checking oil and coolant levels.
- Report production counts, scrap, and labor hours accurately.
- Comply with established 6S standards and participate in lean manufacturing activities.
- Cross-train by rotating to different machines and work areas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Three years of related experience is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge in operating CNC, milling, grinding, or injection molding machines preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
- Ability to demonstrate basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to learn, problem-solve, and make decisions per work instructions.
- Ability to communicate and work as a team member.
- Ability to obtain a Klein provided crane certification may be required.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
