Overview

Acuren is currently recruiting for an API 510/570 Inspector to perform inspections on pressure retaining equipment according to API and ASME standards. The company specializes in technology-enabled asset protection solutions for various industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and alteration of plant equipment.
• Offer technical input on welding and metallurgical issues.
• Provide guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
• Comply with all safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Willingness to travel if needed.

Requirements

• Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570.
• 5 – 10 years’ experience or 2+ years on site experience.
• Additional API 653 or CWI certification is a plus.
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.
