Overview

As a Power-Generation Equipment Repairer in the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for supplying power to support military operations by performing maintenance on generation equipment. This role involves ensuring the efficiency of electrical systems critical to Army activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on tactical utility and precise power-generation sets.
• Maintain internal combustion engines and associated equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks on generation equipment.
• Replace voltage regulators, governors, or circuit cards.
• Adjust frequencies and voltages using technical publications.

Requirements

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements.
