Overview

Tiello has partnered with a well-established Structural Steel Erector to find a Traveling Superintendent with experience managing large-scale structural steel erection projects. The role involves overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Complete OSHA 10 or 30 Hours for the construction industry
• Enforce safety standards and knowledge
• Remain calm and effective under time pressure
• Set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills
• Read blueprints and understand building plans and specifications
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
• Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills
• Communicate effectively with all levels
• Utilize analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Organize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Perform duties independently and manage diverse teams
• Hold First Aid and CPR Certification as a plus

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Superintendent experience in structural steel erection
• Strong understanding of erection processes and project lifecycle
• Working knowledge of TEKLA EPM software
• Proficient in Blue Beam and MS Office products
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.

Additional Information

• Remote/Travel position primarily in Southeast/East Coast
• Compensation includes overtime of 15-20 hours weekly
