Overview

Modine is a global company with over 100 years of experience in thermal management solutions, dedicated to engineering a cleaner and healthier world. The Welder position involves assembling and welding components while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Works from verbal and written instructions from supervisor.
  • Assembles components in fixture and welds assembly together using various welding techniques.
  • Makes repairs of own work.
  • Changes points in welding tip and makes minor adjustments on equipment settings.
  • Responsible for quality of own work.
  • Reports irregularities in the job to the supervisor immediately.
  • Performs other duties related to the occupation including assignments in other departments as required.
  • Maintains area in accordance with defined 5S standards.
  • Participates in process improvement activities and provides data to drive identification and resolution of process failures or defects.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a high school diploma.

  • D Shift Position: Wednesday 11pm - 5am, Thursday - Saturday 5pm - 5am.
