Overview

Standex International is a global industrial growth company focused on innovation across various sectors, including electronics and scientific refrigeration. The Machine Operator role involves participating in the production process, including assembly and equipment operation, specifically on the 2nd Shift.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Company Safety, Quality, and Business policies/procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Use a tablet computer to generate the production documentation required for the operation.
• Perform work as per the Work Instructions, Bill of Material, and build specifications.
• Setup and properly operate the equipment utilized in the area of training.
• Perform all required setup, self, and progressive inspections.
• Document required information on travelers, logs, reports, and Red Tags.
• Maintain tools and equipment used in the work area.
• Be cross-trained in multiple machinery and switch machines as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Technical diploma, trade school certification, or coursework in manufacturing, mechanics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience operating automated or semi-automated machinery.
• Experience with preventive maintenance or troubleshooting of machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or SOPs.

Additional Information

• Available to work on the 2nd Shift.
• Shift Hours: 6PM - 6AM.
