Responsibilities

• Perform manual assembly and operation of automated assembly equipment.
• Conduct hand soldering and operation of automated test equipment.
• Inspect and repair products.
• Perform machine and line setups, feeder repairs, and first line preventative maintenance.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or equivalent education and experience.
• Specific certifications as defined by site operations.
• In-depth knowledge of board assembly process and product process flow.
• In-depth knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications, and SMT processing systems.
• Ability to set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment.
• Ability to recognize and address problems in the assembly process.
• Effective communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and lead the team to high quality production.
• Knowledge of in-circuit and functional test fixturing.
• Knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Lotus Notes, Excel, and documentation control systems.

Additional Information

• Duties performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and operating machinery.
• Periodic light physical effort and exertion required.
