Overview

ONEOK, a Fortune 500 company with over 100 years in business, is seeking a Welder for their Minneapolis maintenance crew. The company emphasizes safety, sustainability, and employee focus, offering a range of benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide welding support for maintenance and construction of a steel pipeline system.
  • Utilize oxyacetylene and electric welding equipment.
  • Read blueprints and fabricate accordingly.
  • Operate medium-weight duty to full-sized trucks and auxiliary equipment.
  • Perform Damage Prevention activities including line locating and ROW marking.
  • Assist other crew members, welders, or technicians as needed.
  • Complete tasks according to the Company Operator Qualification Plan and System Integrity Plan.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma required.
  • 1 - 2 years related work experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to work in stressful and changing environmental conditions.
  • Must pass test based on API 1104 and ASME Section IX within 30 days.
  • Obtain a Department of Transportation CDL license with HazMat endorsement within 60 days.
  • Exhibit safe working habits and develop knowledge of company procedures within 120 days.
  • Must be qualified in specific tasks according to the Company's Operator Qualification Plan.
