Overview

Walter P Moore is an international company of engineers, architects, and innovators that provides structural and infrastructure solutions. They are currently seeking Engineers for their Houston office to perform structural computations and assist with various engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel or other miscellaneous structures.
• Create analysis models and interpret results for 2D and 3D structural frames.
• Assist with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review.
• Understand load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculate applicable loads based on appropriate building codes.
• Assist with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports and other project deliverables while working with the structures team.
• Prepare technical studies and reports.

Requirements

• Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• 4-8 years of experience.
• P.E. license in your resident state required.
• Experience with Revit, Rhino or Grasshopper is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
