Overview

DRA Global Limited is an international multi-disciplinary engineering, project delivery and operations management group focused on the mining, minerals and metals industry. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for civil engineering design activities, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and commissioning of civil engineering works.
  • Provide technical support and project engineering.
  • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and engineers of other disciplines.
  • Manage time schedule, cost, quality, and scope of civil and structural contracts.
  • Supervise civil and structural site personnel to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare engineering proposals, estimates, and budgets for civil works.
  • Oversee the design of civil works including excavation, roads, and structural foundations.
  • Review and advise on civil and structural drawings and on-site construction.
  • Conduct regular inspections and follow-up with site personnel.
  • Compile civil and structural sections of reports.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the multi-disciplinary EPCM environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Previous mining project experience.
  • Experience in 3D design of infrastructure in mining and plant operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in structural design and analysis.
  • Registered Engineer.
