Walter P Moore is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Construction Engineering team, requiring at least 6 years of experience in steel design and related fields. The role involves working with clients on major projects both in the U.S. and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Join the dynamic Construction Engineering team.
• Serve clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally.
• Engage in steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis.

Requirements

• 6-9 years’ experience in steel design, steel connection design and erection sequencing analysis.
• Demonstrated career growth that includes supervision of junior staff.
• Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural strongly preferred.
• P.E. license within your residing state, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) a plus.
• SAP 2000 modeling experience required.
• Proactive with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Client-service oriented.
