Walter P Moore is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Construction Engineering team, requiring at least 6 years of experience in steel design and related areas. The role involves working with various clients on major projects both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Join the Construction Engineering team at Walter P Moore.
• Work on steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis.
• Serve clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally.
• Demonstrate technical specialization and proactivity in meeting client needs.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis.
• Demonstrated career growth including supervision of junior staff.
• Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural strongly preferred.
• P.E. license within your residing state, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus.
• SAP 2000 modeling experience required.
• Proactive with strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
