Overview

Pro-Type Industries is seeking a dedicated and experienced welder to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their craft and committed to delivering high-quality work in a variety of manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and fabricate metal products.
  • Welding: TIG/MIG – aluminum, steel, stainless.
  • Fixture creation and setup.
  • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
  • Support activities for the sheet metal department, as requested.
  • Support activities for overall manufacturing, as requested.

Requirements

  • No educational requirements as long as employee can perform skills adequately.
  • Certifications: D1.1, D17.1.
  • Setup/Operation of welding equipment.
  • Understanding key factors in welding and how to enhance/mitigate them.
  • Able to use manual metal working equipment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to use a computer at a basic level.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Able to stand for a full 8 hour shift.

What you'll be running
