Ziegler offers an internship program for students in technical schools and colleges, providing hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing equipment while learning from experienced technicians. This role focuses on developing mechanical skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing heavy diesel engines and construction or agriculture equipment.
- Respond to customer needs in a positive and timely manner.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 2-year degree program in diesel engine mechanics, construction, or agricultural equipment mechanics.
- Maintain good grades.
- Receive positive recommendations from instructors.
- Possess a positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
- Own a mechanic tool set.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.

Additional Information
- Minimum physical requirements include pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs and lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs.
- Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor with potentially loud noise levels.
