Overview

A welding supervisor will coordinate each welder on the projects, monitor the progress of the operations, and ensure the safety of all workers. The supervisor embodies a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good communication skills, can adapt to new environments, is safety driven and can lead & coach a team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in a positive manner.
  • Train on all job functions, blueprint readings, and use of tools and welders.
  • Meet schedules and expectations.
  • Train all team members.
  • Monitor key competencies including productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years supervisory experience.
  • Experience with MIG welding.
  • Experience with manual welding equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in conflict resolution.
  • Ability to follow direction and create a plan.
