At Allen Industries, we build the signs and architectural products that help brands stand out across the country. We're looking for a Metal Fabricator who enjoys hands-on work, values craftsmanship, and wants to be part of a team that produces exceptional products every day.

Responsibilities

• Construct structures and sign cabinets out of aluminum, steel or other materials according to customer specifications, shop drawings and blueprints.
• Build various sign types, including channel letters, awnings, wall signs, pylon signs, etc.
• Use various equipment to cut, bend, turn, mill and drill to specified lengths and widths per work order.
• Operate metal fabricating machines including shears, saws, breaks, bending machines, and punch and forming presses.
• Weld, rivet or bolt components together, primarily aluminum.
• Inspect parts for defects.
• Operate machinery and equipment, including routers, welders, saws, air drills and power tools.
• Interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.

Requirements

• Experience painting metal or aluminum preferred.
• Ability to use or learn to use fabricating machines and hand tools.
• Ability to read tape measures and shop drawings.
• Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (team lift up to 100 lbs.).
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Additional Information

• Full-time, 40 hours/week.
