Job Description
Overview
Key Technology is a global leader in food processing technology, providing innovative solutions since 1948. As a Welder, you will fabricate stainless steel equipment for food processing in a dynamic production environment using blueprints and engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate stainless steel equipment used in food processing.
- Fit and weld assemblies and sub-assemblies according to blueprints and engineering drawings.
Requirements
- High school education, community college weld program, technical weld school, or equivalent experience.
- Three years’ experience in welding fabrication.
- Basic GMAW and GTAW abilities.
- Knowledge of gas torch and plasma equipment, overhead crane operations, and pneumatic hand tools.
- Ability to use fixtures, templates, stops and/or guides.
- Experience in MIG, TIG, and TIP/TIG welding.

Additional Information
- Swing Shift offers a 4-day work week schedule with a 15% shift differential.
- Position is contingent on successful completion of weld written and practical tests.
